পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা ও উচ্চশিক্ষা বোর্ডের আধিকারিকেরা রাজ্য বোর্ড পরীক্ষার বিষয়ে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার জন্য একটি সভা করবেন। শিগগিরই একটি সিদ্ধান্ত ঘোষণা করা হবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

এই বছর সিবিএসই 12 ম শ্রেণির বোর্ড পরীক্ষা স্ক্র্যাপ করার কেন্দ্রের সিদ্ধান্তের সাথে অনেক রাজ্যই কুই অনুসরণ করেছে এবং স্টেট বোর্ড পরীক্ষা বাতিল করেছে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড (ডাব্লুবিবিএসই) এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা কাউন্সিল (ডাব্লুবিসিইএসই) আজ এই বিষয়ে আলোচনার জন্য একটি যৌথ সংবাদ সম্মেলন করেছে।
এর আগে, পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় জুলাইয়ের শেষদিকে অগস্টের মাঝামাঝি সময়ে দশম শ্রেণি পরীক্ষা দেওয়ার ঘোষণা করেছিলেন। রাজ্য সচিবালয়ে মমতা বেনার্জি সাংবাদিকদের বলেন, “আমরা সমস্ত Covid -19 সুরক্ষা প্রোটোকলকে মেনে মাধ্যমিক (মধ্যমিক) এবং উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক (উকচো মধ্যমিক) পরীক্ষা করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি।
তবে, সিবিএসই-এর 12 ম শ্রেণির পরীক্ষা এবং অন্যান্য রাজ্যগুলির সিদ্ধান্তের পরে কেন্দ্রটি বাতিল করে দেওয়া হচ্ছে, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার আজ দশম এবং 12 টি রাজ্য বোর্ড পরীক্ষায় চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে পারে বলে অনুমান করা হচ্ছে।
এদিকে, হরিয়ানা সরকার রাজ্য বোর্ড কর্তৃক পরিচালিত দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির পরীক্ষা বাতিল করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে বলে মঙ্গলবার শিক্ষামন্ত্রী কানওয়ার পাল জানিয়েছেন। সিওএসইএস -১১ মহামারীর মধ্যে কেন্দ্র সরকার সিবিএসই-র 12 ম শ্রেণির বোর্ড পরীক্ষা বাতিল করার ঘোষণা দেওয়ার পরেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।

এর আগে, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার ২ 27 শে মে ঘোষণা করেছিল যে দশম ও দ্বাদশ শিক্ষার্থীর জন্য বোর্ডের পরীক্ষা নিজ নিজ বিদ্যালয় থেকে জুলাই ও আগস্টে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বোর্ড পরীক্ষায় ৩৫ লক্ষেরও বেশি শিক্ষার্থী অংশ নেবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে। এর মধ্যে ডাব্লুবিবিএসই মধ্যমিক ক্লাস 10 পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেওয়ার জন্য নিবন্ধিত হওয়া শিক্ষার্থী এবং 12 তম বা WBCHSE উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার জন্য 14 লক্ষ শিক্ষার্থী অন্তর্ভুক্ত রয়েছে।
প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর সভাপতিত্বে বৈঠক শেষে গতকাল সিবিএসই ক্লাস 12 বোর্ড পরীক্ষা 2021 বাতিল করা হয়েছে। সিআইএসসিইসি বোর্ডও ক্লাস 10 এবং ক্লাস 12 উভয় পরীক্ষা বাতিল করেছে।
